Had a wonderful opportunity to attend the Mountain Plains Adult Educator Association Conference in Las Vegas last week as a LINCs trainer, and one of my sessions was an introduction to the "Integrating Career Awareness into the ABE & ESOL Classroom Curriculum Guide ." If you have not checked it out, you are missing out! This is a rich resource for lesson ideas and plans that increase student awareness about careers. It also offers guidance and support for students to develop career plans. We wanted to open up a discussion where session participants can share ideas with each other about how they plan to use the resource. But we encourage and welcome input from others as well!
