Invitation to Comment on the Implementation of Title II and Title IV of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act

Hello Everyone,

I would like to inform the group members that OCTAE and OSERS (Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services have invited the public to offer comments and recommendations to help with the implementation of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).  Your input can help point out concerns that need to be taken into consideration as draft regulations are being developed. 

This is of particular importance to the members of the College and Career Standards Community Group.  “WIOA requires states to implement adult education content standards that are aligned to their standards under Title I of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965.”  OCTAE wants your ideas about the timeline and implementation issues that go along with fulfilling this requirement.
