The 2017 COABE (Coalition on Adult Basic Education) Conference will be starting in Orlando, FL this Sunday, April 2nd , with pre-conference sessions, and running through Wednesday, April 5th.
Our LINCS team will be presenting a session on Monday, April 3rd, 11AM to 12:15 PM ET, “LINCS LIVE! Connecting You with a National Network of Adult Practitioners, Resources, and Promising Practices in Real Time.” You are hereby highly encouraged to join the session from wherever you are. “LINCS LIVE!” refers to the fact that the session will be held at the conference and in our LINCS communities online.
Participate in a candid discussion on pressing topics and needed resources to support adult education practitioners and learners, and connect with fellow educators to share first-hand experience and insights critical to the field. See how the LINCS Community works in real time and learn more about its high-quality resources through a blended discussion driven by session attendees and online participants. This session is a great refresher for LINCS Community members and an excellent introduction for those interested in joining the national dialogue occurring on LINCS.
The online portion of the LINCS Live! conversation will be taking place in the micro-group "LINCS Suggestion Box", found in the Integrating Technology CoP. Even if you are a member of the Integrating Technology CoP, you must request to join the micro-group to be able to participate in this conversation. Please take this step in advance, so you are able to participate in the conversation on Monday!
