Looking for Transfer of Learning Examples

Hi PD Friends,

The Texas Center for the Advancement of Literacy and Learning (TCALL) is in the process of developing a data driven, research-based Evaluation Transfer of Learning instrument for our current grant project. While we have access to Adult and Continuing Education journals, we'd like to know if there are any Adult Education programs out there that would be willing to share their instrument(s).  What has worked for you?

If you're willing to share please send them to:

Donald Stoddart - dstoddart@tamu.edu  OR  Debra Hargrove  - dhargrove@cehd.tamu.edu

Thanks a bunch!

Deb

Hi Deb, what a great question. While I don't have any to share, I'd love to see the examples you are collecting. Could you or others share them with us, maybe in the PD area of the ALE Wiki?

I've set up a page where we can share and readily access the instruments (I've included quick instructions on how to upload and link them to the ALE Wiki, if they are not already online):

http://wiki.literacytent.org/index.php/Evaluating_Transfer_of_Learning

If they are already online, just add the URLs directly to the Wiki page.

Our EBPD Group and the ALE Wiki allow us to share and archive best and promising practices so that we can learn from each other. I encourage us all to make the most if it.

Happy Monday!

Jackie
