The Most Debatable Topic in Adult Education
I have been following this conversation in the Adult English Language Learners Community with heightened interest. I want to respond to Carol King who commented on May 19th. Carol articulated that for her she would want to focus on exactly what the standards were saying and asking students to do. This made me want to share something that a program administrator recently told me. He said that every time his staff meets, he spends a portion of the time they are together on the topic of standards. He called it a Tiny Professional Development.
