My Perfect Class

My idea of a perfect class:

A room 50 feet by 50 feet with about 30 laptops, a small lending library of books, texts, cds and dvds, a list of internet sites useful for learning English, Civics, and other subjects such as test prep for the driver’s tests, several long tables with chairs in the middle of the room, a refrigerator and a coffee pot.
Upon entering, the students would go online to study their lessons for about an hour, at which point we would take a break and chat. During the second half of the class we would all sit around the table to discuss and study certain issues and lessons in English.
In this type of classroom, I can comfortably teach at least 25 “mixed-level” students, and also provide a degree of child-care.
At the same time I would use a class WhatsApp chat group during the week, especially to answer questions on issues that arise.
I also would like a large, flat computer monitor on the wall that could be used to view certain websites and even to visit other classes! For example, if you would like us to visit your class, I would gladly “perform” my lesson on pronouncing “Th…” which usually gets rave reviews.
In any case, my perfect class also resembles the Adult Education Drop-In Center that I have been working on, and I am very much interested to learn about other people’s ideas of a perfect class which I can add to the outline and grant proposal.
