ELL-U has several activities coming up, so save the date to participate!

  • The Working with Emergent Readers Club [edited by admin to fix broken link] will be launching in early January! Stay tuned for more details about the club's activities, including book groups, field trips, a learning plan, and a shared teaching idea bank!
  • The Teaching Vocabulary Club [edited by admin to fix broken link] and Working with Emergent Readers Clubs [edited by admin to fix broken link] both have upcoming online book groups and virtual field trips beginning in January. Register today to reserve your space!
  • Dr. Kimberly Johnson will be facilitating an upcoming online study circle, Learner-Centered Practice in Adult ESL [edited by admin to fix broken link] (SC21). Registration will be opening shortly for the study circle, which will include three connected sessions on January 25, February 8, and February 22, 2013, all from 1:00 - 2:30 PM EST.
  • Mark your calendars for the Formative Assessment in Adult ESL: Focus on Student Learning [edited by admin to fix broken link] (SC23) study circle. This study circle is a deeper dive into the ideas and concepts presented in the Formative Assessment to Inform Quality Adult ESL Instruction [edited by admin to fix broken link] (OC03) online course. The study circle will be held in three connected sessions on February 21, March 7, and March 21, 2013 from 3:00 - 4:30 PM EST.
