English Language Learner University (ELL-U) Clubs are virtual spaces where ELL practitioners form a community to facilitate professional learning and development around a specific topic. The newly launched Working with Emergent Readers Club allows new and experienced teachers working with English language learners in the beginning stages of acquiring print literacy the opportunity to share ideas and resources. Members of this club can participate in topical activities, such as book groups, field trips, shared teaching ideas, and Learning Plans.
