Noncognitive Skills Study Group, and Wiki topic area

Colleagues,

I am wondering how many people in the Assessment CoP are interested in assessment of and/or teaching adult learners noncognitive skills. Grit is one good example, and there are others. Noncogitive skills assessment is important, and so is noncognitive teaching and curriculum. If you are interested in noncognitive skills, please let me know. You can do that by emailing me at djrosen@newsomeassociates.com .  I am considering organizing an online group of those who may be interested if I hear from enough people, so if you want to be part of this group, please email me now.

Please also visit the Adult literacy Education Wiki topic area on noncogitive skills at http://wiki.literacytent.org/index.php/Noncognitive_Skills . While there, since it's a wiki you can add to the page. (Directions will be found at the bottom of the page.) It includes a new section where you can add examples of noncognitive skills that you are teaching (and/or assessing) and how you are doing it.
