O*NET System Adds Hot Technologies

O*NET Online, the U.S. Department of Labor-created online tool for career exploration and job analysis, has just been updated to include Hot Technologies.   This new search engine allows users to search a list of software skills - think Adobe Systems, Microsoft, etc. - to see which careers frequently include them in job postings.  Users can also use O*NET to search careers, and look for the fire icon as another means of finding which software skills are currently in demand, based on labor statistics.

How might you use this new feature with learners as part of the career exploration process?  Not sure, go ahead and check it out here, and let us know!
