All, A colleague in Rhode Island has asked: Does anyone have a good resource for Chinese (in this case both Mandarin and Cantonese) speakers who need to work on their pronunciation and/or listening? Hi Janet, David Recine's blog offers a number of online suggestions specific to Chinese learners of English. Some of the recommendations are more appropriate for teachers than learners. On his list, he includes Rachel's English, which is a really great pronunciation website with dozens of YouTube videos focused on different aspects of American English pronunciation. I've learned a lot from viewing these videos. I would say that Rachel's video lessons are designed for English learners at an advanced level.
