Planning for our group

Hello, Disabilities in Adult Education Community of Practice,

I am excited to be working with each of you, as LINCS begins a new chapter.  My role is shifting from the previous model of 'subject matter expert' to one where I will serve as a moderator of many experts, namely, you!

That said, I want to hear from you about your goals and ideas for this group?  What skills are you most interested in developing to better serve your learners?  What are your areas of expertise?

Over the next week, please take five minutes to post a thread, or send me an e-mail, answering these questions:

1.  What information are you looking for from our group, in order to better serve learners?  How does your work connect with the topic of disabilities?

2. What are your goals for the Disabilities in Adult Education community?  What do you want to see explored and discussed?

3.  Do you have an expertise in a specific disability category, ie.: LD; low vision/blindness; deaf/hard-of-hearing; physical disability; intellectual disability; autism?  If so, would you be interested in being either a lead group member, or committee member, for a specific disability?

I look forward to hearing from each one of you.  Again, feel free to post to the group, or e-mail me directly at michaelcruse74@gmail.com

Thanks,

Mike
