I wonder how many of us have watched the 2018 Winter Olympics? As we watch athletes go for the gold, I thought I would share some resources for classroom use.
- Ideas for geography, writing, politics, and science.
- Teaching velocity, inertia, and momentum
- Themed STEM Resources
- NBC Learns with STEM ideas
Which resources in this list could you use for the adult education classroom? Using current events is a great way to contextualize instruction. Have you used other ideas for teaching STEM or cross curricular concepts?
I know whe have some Olympic fans in our groups - so how are you blending this event with instruction?
