Seeking information about colleges and/or CTE programs that provide targeted services for single mothers

The Single Mothers’ Career Readiness and Success Project is seeking information about postsecondary institutions and Career and Technical Education programs that prepare single mothers for career pathway success, by providing one or more of the following:

  • Subsidized childcare
  • Financial support, e.g. scholarships, emergency funds, institutional aid
  • Partnerships with local agencies and community based organizations to provide support services
  • Advising, coaching, navigator, and/or case management services

The Single Mothers’ Career Readiness and Success Project is led by the National College Transition Network (NCTN) at World Education, with funding from ECMC Foundation.

Our goal is to identify and document the successful models and practices and create program profiles compiled in a report that will be shared with educators, policymakers, and funders, nationally.
