Student Scholarship Opportunity: America's Farmers Grow As Leaders Program

The America’s Farmers Grow Ag Leaders program is accepting scholarship applications for 2017. Sponsored by the Monsanto Fund and administered by the National FFA Scholarship Program, the program provides $1,500 scholarships to students in 1,331 eligible counties across 41 states.

Open to high school seniors and college students who are studying in an ag-related field, the Grow Ag Leaders program is offering 352 scholarships this year to students across rural America – totaling more than a half-million dollars. Students can visit www.GrowAgLeaders.com to learn more about the scholarship and may apply online through February 1 at FFA.org/scholarships. Students need not be FFA members to apply.

With the USDA projecting an average of nearly 60,000 annual job openings in ag, there has never been a better time for students to pursue a career in our industry. That’s why we need you to help spread the word about America’s Farmers Grow Ag Leaders. Today’s students are tomorrow’s ag leaders, so join your colleagues in supporting Grow Ag Leaders and the future of our industry by promoting the program to farmers and students in rural communities. You can also follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Grow Ag Leaders is part of the America’s Farmers initiative, which works with farmers to support local community groups, youth and schools. Sponsored by the Monsanto Fund, these programs have awarded more than $36 million in rural America since 2010. Learn more at www.AmericasFarmers.com
