Supplemental ESOL materials for skilled immigrants

I'm working with a program designed to assist highly skilled immigrants gain employment in their past professions. Can anyone point me in the direction of where to look for supplemental English materials for professionals with a background in management, physics, or chemistry?  (They currently use Burlington English, but it does not cover enough professions nor does it have the content depth their students need. They've found some materials through Khan Academy, but not enough.  In addition, they have talked with Upwardly Global but because they are not an affiliate they cannot access their online resources.)

Any suggestions are most welcome!

For the person needing management, I would focus on English for Business. For the physics and chemistry, I would reach out to the physics and chemistry departments at local universities and colleges. I would ask what they do for their students who are learning English and I would ask if there might be any university students in the department interested in working/volunteering with a group of English Langauge Learners. Most universities now require volunteer/service hours for graduation. So you might be helping the department and students with the collaboration. Additionally, they may have students in similar situations that allow you to collaborate to provide needed services to your clients. You can also get the names of professors teaching those classes and contact them to see if your students can sit through an occassional class. If the client is highly skilled and experienced it could be mutually beneficial. I would not recommend asking the department about this. It is better to contact the professors directly. The last suggestion is to have your student join/contact local organizations in their industry. They may be able to connect with others willing to help them or find someone who has been through something similar. By reaching out, you may find people in the field willing to mentor or volunteer teach your students. Finally, you may want to consider using Nepris to attract people in the industry who can speak to your students directly. If you purchase a Nepris license you can make unlimited request for private sessions from people in any industry you need. You could have a different "guest" in the field once or twice a week speak with your individual student or the class. You simply post a request for a session for someone in a particular industry and Nepris will help you locate them. You can also join other people's sessions so your students can interact with others interested in working in the field. Hope this helps.
