If you must give paper-based TABE, be aware that the time and staff needed for testing is going to be multiplied.
After the Locator, each level (E, M, D, A) will require a SEPARATE test session! The directions, examples, and timing is different for each level.
Here is an example-
Possible Schedule- TABE 11-12
Day 1- Locator Math and Reading- 1 hour 30 minutes
Day 2- Reading and Math Level E- 4 hours
Day 3- Reading and Math Level M- 4 hours
Day 4- Reading and Math Level D- 4 hours
Day 5- Reading and Math Level A- 4 hours
Giving JUST Math-
Session 1- Locator Math- 45 minutes
Session 2- Math Level E- 1 ½ hours
Session 3- Math Level M- 1 ½ hours
Session 4- Math Level D- 1 ½ hours
Session 5- Math Level A- 1 ½ hours
Directions, examples, and timing varies, so giving different levels at the same session is not feasible.
