Hello colleagues, Do you use a taxonomy, such as Bloom's or Webb's Depth of Knowledge to guide your instruction? If so, can you say how the tool helps with your planning?
Some members might be interested in checking out this collection of brief posts in a recent Education Week blog on "Ways to Use Taxonomies in the Classroom." The authors address the uses and misuses of taxonomies. I was curious about the misuses! The SOLO taxonomy is also mentioned, which was a new one for me. I'm wondering if any of our members are familiar with that one.
