Hello colleagues, Taking notes is a skill many of us employ from time to time in our daily lives, on the job, and certainly in educational contexts. Have you taught students a method for taking notes -- from listening to lectures, podcasts, or videos? How about from reading?
I have been watching YouTube videos this morning on the Cornell Note-taking Method. Are members familiar with this approach to taking notes? Do you use this method yourself? Would you recommend teaching this method to students? Thanks for sharing your thoughts on ways to teach students effective techniques for taking notes.
