Test or Curriculum Product Online User Groups for Adult Ed Teachers

Colleagues,

I was asked recently if there are any adult education test or product user groups that adult basic skills teachers could join, for example:

  • State or national GED®, HiSET® or TASC® user groups
  • HSE online curriculum user groups, organized by a product vendor or perhaps by a state
  • Other online adult education curriculum products user groups, for ELL/ESOL/ESL, ABE, transitions, etc.
  • A national or state level Open Education Resources (OER) user group for adult basic skills teachers
  • Users of a particular adult education curriculum or textbook

If there are some I would like to know about them, and would be willing to compile a free and publicly available list of them. Do you know of any?

I am surprised that no one has yet responded to this question. Please take a look and if you know of any online user groups that adult education teachers could join whose focus is the use of a particular test, product or tool, please let us know.

For example, there is now on Facebook a robust Facebook Users group for adult education teachers who are using, or want to use, Facebook with their students for teaching/learning and community-building. Email me if you are interested in joining this group.
