I'm sorry this is too late for this year, but maybe someone wants to bookmark a couple videos for next year?

I've found youtube to be helpful in talking about Thanksgiving. In general, I find it helps to use search terms like "the true story of Thanksgiving" to find accurate content that is appropriate for adults. Recently, I found this video that students appreciated. It can be used with the sound off if you want to do the narration yourself and pause it frequently. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ociHVDWxDaY&feature=youtu.be&fbclid=IwAR2HBZ6y6rCR8BksWMBZtYEpvuLpEweOop5jgEVf0PpQrMQnENXeqvrv1-A (The first four minutes focus on the events leading up to the "first Thanksgiving" and would probably be sufficient.)

I've also used this video with ABE or advanced students. It gets into more of the cultural history of how the official holiday came to be and students found it interesting (though it's getting aged now). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwtOZYldiDA&pbjreload=10
