I recently participated in Kentucky’s professional development for adult education instructors. The Kentucky teachers were hard at work learning how to use the College and Career Readiness Standards for Adult Education in planning their lessons. What are the instructional changes that are being implemented at this time in your programs? Are the changes a result of professional development? Please share this information with our community. We can all learn from each other.

Hi Meryl. We just finished Unit 3. We are implementing the standards in all of the lesson plans. Unit 3 helped to look at assignments more critically. I encourage everyone still in the SIA process to stay with it. It's working. Students are making progress at a higher rate.
