Using state trend data for program improvement

With the end of a fiscal year, program administrators start to think about organizing all the data collected for the National Reporting System (NRS) to report to the state. Is your state looking at its NRS data for trends that could improve programs? Last summer Research Allies for Lifelong Learning reviewed national NRS data on its webpage, 5 Years in US Adult Education , and started to look at state NRS data across time. This month we have added two new states, Nevada and Pennsylvania, to our multi-year NRS review of State Trends in Adult Education. We also updated data trends for Florida to include the latest available year, 2011-12. More info is on R-Ally's e-Xchange.
