On April 13, 2017, from 1-2 p.m. (ET), the U.S. Department of Education’s Supporting Student Success project team will host a webinar titled Supporting Student Success: The Hybrid Approach. The one-hour webinar will feature St. Louis Community College’s Adult Learning Academy (ALA).
The ALA is a technology-enhanced program for developmental education which uses evidence based approaches to increase completion and transition to post secondary and career pathway programming. It utilizes elements of accelerated curriculum, contextualized learning, and intrusive student support thus making it a "hybrid" approach to student success.
