Welcome to the Adult English Language Learner List in 2014 - we are more than 1500

Hi, everyone.

Happy New Year,.

We are over 1500 in number now. That's an awful lot of expertise and experience. I hope we can continue to share that here, and even more so.

When the fiscal year began in October 2013, one of the new procedures was to send welcome messages to all new members. I have sent these emails to all new members since that time, more than 300 of you. Since I don't think I will be able to send welcome messages to the other 1200 or so who have already joined.

So, this is a welcome to all of you and thanks for being members. Please read posts, comment on them, and start new topics on subjects of interest to you.

Also - please introduce yourself, if you like, when you post. Where do you work? What are issues of interest to you?  Check out the recent threads on "What's in and What's out in Adult ESL in 2014" https://community.lincs.ed.gov/discussion/whats-and-whats-out-adult-esl-2014

Hope to hear from you!
