Friends,
I am excited about the Health Literacy group joining the Science group. We will continue sharing best-practices, information, research, expertise, and resources on science and health related topics that will benefit our programs and students. I have been involved in adult literacy education as an instructor, program administrator, and curriculum director for 20 years. Currently, I am working on my Ed.D with an emphasis on Trauma Informed Leadership - and studying ACES - Adverse Childhood Experiences. On a personal note, I live in rural Illinois, have been married for 30 years, have two children in college, and am a pet parent to an old rescue dog. :-)
