Pay for Success Competition to Develop Greater Opportunity in CTE

  • Location:
    Online webinar
    Date:
    Friday, January 27, 2017 - 1:00pm

Funded by the U.S. Department of Education, Social Finance and Jobs for the Future (JFF) are hosting the first Pay for Success competition in K-12 education to provide technical support to develop and expand career and technical education (CTE) programs for underserved, high-need youth. The resulting projects will create and scale effective programs and connect students to educational opportunities that increase their economic mobility.

Social Finance and JFF will select four applicants and explore how Pay for Success would allow them to implement or expand a CTE program. The partner organizations will then work with select applicants to develop and launch Pay for Success projects in their communities. Eligible applicants are those that provide high-quality CTE programs to underserved, high-need youth. Eligible applicants might include, but are not limited to, public or charter schools, career and technical education schools, community colleges, local education agencies, workforce agencies, and intermediary organizations.

Please join Social Finance and JFF for an informational webinar about the competition and application process on Friday, January 27 at 1:00pm EST (previously scheduled on January 25).
