Each year, the Student coalition for Action in Literacy Education (SCALE) hosts the Read.Write.Act Virtual Conference, which connects college students at campus based literacy groups, program administrators, higher education faculty, and non-profit professionals from around the country with content specialists, community-based literacy organizations and other leaders in literacy who are committed to creating a more just society by engaging young people in literacy education. In honor of the election year, SCALE is asking that this year’s presentations and posters fall under the theme “Literacy as a National Priority.”
This year SCALE will hold its fourth virtual conference which will be held on Thursday and Friday, November 1st and 2nd. In addition there will be a face-to-face event on Saturday, November 3rd in Chapel Hill.
You should register for all sessions you plan to attend. Workshop space will be limited to 40 attendees to encourage more participation and discussion. If you only plan to attend the Saturday Conference, you may select that session option. Saturday registration includes lunch and free parking.
