Interested in using competency models to create or refine career pathways?
Join us on Thursday, June 13th, 2019 for the second call in the U.S. Department of Labor Competency Model Peer Learning Group Series. In addition to having a robust open discussion, we will hear from Bitsy Cohn about how the Colorado Helps Advanced Manufacturing Program (CHAMP) developed career pathways to address the state’s advanced manufacturing industry needs. We will also share two additional career pathway development examples, the Workforce Development Council (WDC) of Seattle-King County and the Colorado Water Framework.
The goal of this peer learning group is to create a community of workforce development professionals that convenes to share experiences, resources, and best practices for using competency models to align training to industry demand. Each month, participants will convene to discuss workforce topics relevant to the current priorities in the field. You can access the recordings and materials from previous calls on the Peer Learning Group Resource Page.
