This is an Affordable Care Act (ACA) informational email regarding an upcoming National Health Insurance Literacy hosted by HHS, Office of Minority Health (OMH) and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The webinar is scheduled forFebruary 5, 2014, 12 pm Central Time. OMH partners and others who are interested in learning about health insurance literacy resources and tools to support community outreach and education efforts are encouraged to attend this webinar. As such, the webinar may be helpful for workforce development staff who are working with program participants needing access to health care. Please note, OMH has requested that questions regarding the Affordable Care Act be emailed to OMH in advance/prior to the webinar. During the call, we will provide brief updates on the Health Insurance Marketplace and share information on health insurance literacy.
