The National Disability Institute (NDI) and Wells Fargo have joined forces to offer financial education at American Job Centers (AJC) across the country. They have announced a July 26 webinar (2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. EST) that will feature key executives from both organizations. See the Registration Webpage.
Hands on Banking / El futuro en tus manos (www.handsonbanking.org) is a free, fun, non-commercial program available in both English and Spanish that teaches people in all stages of life about the basics of responsible money management, including how to create a budget, save and invest, borrow responsibly, buy a home, and establish a small business.
In the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Final Regulations, financial literacy is a required service in WIOA youth programs and appropriate for adults receiving individualized career services as well.
