Building Bridges Between Adult Basic Education and Developmental Education is a discussion starting on OCTOBER 17 and running through OCTOBER 21st from 9 am - 5 pm ET on this Community of Practice. This online discussion will be based on the U.S. Department of Education's Supporting Student Success project, and moderated by Victoria Bozzuto, Dean of Workforce Development and Continuing Education at Gateway Community College, and Tamara Clunis, Dean of Academic Success Division at Amarillo College. The discussion will cover strategies and models for building relationships between and aligning Dev Ed and ABE programming. These strategies range on a spectrum from little/no integration to full communication and collaboration. You will have an opportunity to hear about the approaches used at the two colleges, pose your own questions and comments, and receive feedback from the moderators.
