Re-Introduction

We have been LINCS members since before it was LINCS. We have years of experience - Elaine, the Linguist, as ESL teacher and prolific author, and Arthur, a Social Worker and semi-geek, who worked with many communities in which the learners of English as a Second Language, and English Improvement live.

We are working every day on improving, updating and adding to Elaine's Timeless Tools for Teaching and Learning English.

We hope to contribute to your efforts in helping to develop successful, self-motivated, life-long literate learners.

Let us know what you still need, and we'll do our best to deliver.

Hi Arthur:

You will be surprised at how easy this is (hopefully not my "famous last words").  When you start or respond to a post, you will see a little menu of icons above the textbox.  In the lower set of icons, on the right side, you will see a chain link (close to the flag).  When you want to include a link in your post, just highlight the text related to the link, then click on the chain.  You will see a little pop-up box with a place to type in the URL.  It has to be the exact URL, no spaces, etc.  It is best to "copy and paste" the URL directly from the website address to avoid errors.

That's it...let me know how it goes.
