Minority Serving Community Colleges and Affiliates

The Minority-Serving Community Colleges Community and Affiliates (MSCCA) Community of Practice aims to support student success through the sharing of experience and practices, support of collaboration between colleges, and by enhancing connections to practitioners of adult basic education, developmental education, English Language Learners, and career and technical education.

Though the MSCCA CoP offers discussion and engagement of Minority Serving Community Colleges on a broader perspective, there are additional institution specific CoPs (HBCUs, HSIs, etc.) that engage in more nuanced discussions and resource sharing that reside within the unique contexts of these institutions. If interested, you can reach out to the coaches for the institution specific groups.

Rebekah Myers (RMyers@insightpolicyresearch.com) provides technical assistance/coaching for the Predominantly Black Institutions (PBI) and the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) CoPs.

Robin Wisniewski (rwisniewski@rti.org) and Natassia Rodrigues Ott provide technical assistance/coaching for the Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander-Serving Institutions (AANAPISI) and the Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSI) CoPs.
