The University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) has created a registered campus organization with the mission to increase representation of community college Alumni in PhD programs and to disseminate research about community college equity issues with the goal of reducing stigmas. A component of the CC2PhD are the Saturday academies, which is a series of workshops on social science research methods, PhD preparation workshops, research presentations on community college equity issues, and miscellaneous presentations. Linked are the videos and corresponding powerpoints for each of the sessions. This may be useful to both you and your students.
