Developing Future Biologist Summer Course at University of Michigan

Hello all,

I wanted to share an exciting outreach opportunity called Developing Future Biologists (DFB) at the University of Michigan. The program consists of a week-long short course for undergraduate students interested in careers in biological sciences. Students will be immersed in the core concepts of developmental biology through interactive lectures and hands-on laboratories. Additionally, throughout the week, students participate in career development workshops and networking opportunities. Collectively, this course provides a unique opportunity for students to be introduced to both developmental biology concepts and biological research as they work closely with our highly dedicated and interdisciplinary team of faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students.

This is the fourth year of the DFB program, and its second year being held at the University of Michigan's Ann Arbor campus. It will take place May 14-19, 2018, and all expenses of accepted students are covered by the program

I am writing to you because we would like to invite your students to apply to DFD. Applications for the DFB 2018 course are being accepted from February 20th until March 23rd, 2018. Please encourage your students to apply!
