Strengthening Manufacturing Partnerships

Communities have been seeking to advance their local and regional economies by developing innovation-intensive sectors and building partnerships that improve the education-to-workforce talent pipeline. This group will discuss key challenges and lessons learned, and will facilitate critical conversations. Participants in the group represent governments, businesses, the workforce-investment system, secondary and postsecondary institutions, and civic organizations who will tell their stories related to the formation and development of a manufacturing sector partnerships. 

Purpose: The Partnership Formation and Development in Manufacturing project seeks to share lessons learned with other communities that are positioned to benefit from those lessons. 

Target Audience: Manufacturing Sector Partners including but not limited to: Career and Technical Education Providers; Postsecondary Institutions, Adult Education Programs, State Agencies, Secondary Education Providers, and Workforce Development Boards
