USCIS Citizenship and Integration Grant Program Listening Session
Friday, Dec. 6, 2024
2 - 3 p.m. Eastern
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services invites you to participate in a listening session on Friday, Dec. 6, from 2 - 3 p.m. Eastern, to provide feedback to us about the Citizenship and Integration Grant Program. With the program now operating in its 16th year, we are seeking feedback from the public on ways we can better meet the needs of organizations working to promote naturalization among the eligible to naturalize members of their communities.
Listening Session Questions: While USCIS is interested in overall feedback regarding the Citizenship and Integration Grant program, we would like specific feedback on the following questions:
- The goal of the USCIS Citizenship and Integration Grant Program is to expand the availability of high-quality citizenship preparation services across the nation. What changes, if any, would you recommend to the program to help it achieve its mission?
- What are the reasons that immigrant-serving organizations choose not to apply for USCIS grant funding?
- What aspects of the grant program are working well and why?
- Aside from grants, what other types of resources and support would be helpful for organizations working to support those on the pathway to citizenship?
