The Enhancing Access for Refugees and New Americans (EARN) project will be at TESOL and COABE! Come join EARN project activities to learn more about the purpose of the project. EARN team members will describe recently released and upcoming technical assistance activities and resources.

Friday, March 24th at 12:30-1:45pm PT - Join the EARN Project Director for a poster session in the Expo Hall at the Oregon Convention center.

Monday, April 3rd at 11am ET/8am PT – Join project staff for a brief recorded session followed up with live Q&A!

Sunday, April 2nd at 8:30-11:30am ET – Join the EARN project for a pre-conference session. “Contextualizing Instruction in IELCE Activities: A Hands-on Training” focuses on contextualizing instruction specifically for IELCE activities. The session requires pre-registration.

Tuesday, April 4th at 8:00-9:15am ET – EARN will be participating in the “LINCS and Federal Initiatives from OCTAE” session. EARN team members will provide a short overview of the project and participate in a panel discussion.

Tuesday, April 4th at 11:45am-1:00pm ET – The EARN session will be hosting “New Resources from the Department of Education to Support IELCE Implementation”. EARN team members will provide an in-depth look at the project, it’s goals, and available and upcoming resources, including spotlights on using bridge models to connect IELCE to IET, the role of navigators in IELCE, and serving refugees.
