Hi, all.

Heide Wrigley has asked that the following be posted to this group:

The Seattle Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs is looking for a Program Specialist who is a strategic,  results driven, and passionate advocate for immigrants and refugees

The Seattle Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs (OIRA) was established in 2012 with the mission to facilitate the successful integration of immigrants and refugees into Seattle’s civic, economic and cultural life. In order for the department to realize its goals and objectives, we have an opportunity to bring in an experienced Program Specialist who will work with the OIRA team to develop and implement programs that build equity for immigrant and refugee communities in Seattle and establish Seattle as a leader in immigrant integration.

Reporting to the OIRA Director, you will utilize your program development experience to cultivate and coordinate a City-wide English Language Learner (ELL) initiative to address the unmet needs in ESL programming in our region.
