Dr. Doreen Ewert is Associate Professor and Director of the Academic English for Multilingual Students Program in the Department of Rhetoric and Language at the University of San Francisco. Her teaching and research focus on several aspects of second language learning and teaching for pre-academic and matriculated adult language learners: language teacher development, curriculum and program design and implementation, second language literacy development, content-based instruction, extensive reading, and integrated task assessment.
