How to Effectively Move Your English as Second Language (ESL) Classroom Online

Join the LINCS Teaching and Learning Community of Practice in the second in a series of LINCS webinars focused on moving instruction online. Join Dr. Glenda Rose as she walks you through the steps she’s used to engage adult learners in an online classroom. She’ll address lesson planning, online tools, communications with learners, and what to do after a live teaching session. Dr. Rose is a certified Professional Online Instructor through Texas A& M University.

The discussion will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at 3:00pm ET. This activity is for all adult education practitioners, with a focus on teachers of English Language Acquisition (ELA), who are interested in learning more about online ELA instruction.

Webinar presenter:

Dr. Glenda Rose is certified by Texas A&M University as a Professional Online Instructor and has been teaching online for more than 15 years at all levels and in all modalities: asynchronous only, live by text, live by web conference, etc. Dr. Rose has taught English to adults since 1987 and has a master's in Applied Linguistics and a doctorate in Foreign Language Education: Applied Linguistics.
