Native American Heritage Month -- Teaching Resources

Hello colleagues, Happy November -- the month when most of us celebrate Thanksgiving. While our family Thanksgiving may be celebrated differently this year, this holiday offers us a wonderful opportunity to share aspects of Native American culture.

In fact,  Native American Heritage Month, and some teachers will likey want to plan instruction around this essential aspect of American culture and history. You'll find many engaging civics lesson plans and a wide collection of instructional resources at EDSITEment.
