New EARN Resource on Serving Internationally Trained Professionals (ITPs)

Adult education programs have long served individuals with degrees and credentials from foreign countries English language acquisition programming. The Enhancing Access for Refugees and New Americans project has released a new spotlight, Serving Internationally Trained Professionals in IELCE Activities. This spotlight describes practices for serving Internationally Trained Professionals (ITPs) in adult education. The spotlight is intended to help adult educators at all levels—state, program, and classroom—learn more about ITPs and how best to serve them through adult education programming, including IELCE activities.
