Seeking Research Participants

My name is David Housel, and I am a doctoral candidate from the EdD program in Instructional Leadership at Hunter College (CUNY) in the United States.  I am currently recruiting participants for a follow-up research study based on the findings from my dissertation. The survey should take approximately 7-10 minutes to complete.  You are welcome to forward the survey link, at the bottom of this message, to other eligible participants.

If you are an instructor who is currently teaching or has taught adult, emergent bi/multilingual learners (ESOL students) in the United States, you are eligible to participate.

The purpose of the study is to understand how your preservice preparation and ongoing professional development have addressed specific topics that could influence your confidence and ability to address the complex learning and psycho-social-emotional needs of your students.

If you have questions about the research, please send David an email at david.housel18@myhunter.cuny.edu.  If you know other instructors of adult, emergent bi/multilingual learners, please feel free to forward this email to them.  He apologizes, in advance, for any cross-posts and requests that you only complete the survey once.

If you are a CUNY employee, your willingness to participate in this research study, or your request to withdraw from the research study, will not affect your employment with CUNY.

This is the link to the consent form and survey, which will take approximately 7-10 minutes to complete:
