We can reform the system

Susan,  I do not teach in the "system", but I know enough to  be able to say  that there is a large need to reform it - especially in the area of ESL instruction for beginning adults.

In a nutshell, we should  focus on increasing the number of classes to a Blended Learning mode, with two hours of teacher instruction accompanied by two hours of online homework, utilizing WhatsApp and other sites or platforms.

I strongly believe that classes for beginning students should be conducted bilingually or multi-lingually using various programs accessible via the internet.

And I believe that, if government funding is an issue, then we should apply for Grants, such as from the Barbara Bush Foundation (https://www.barbarabush.org/).

Does the above sound like something that LINCS could support, or would it be better to connect to another educational agency?
