“Talk Amongst Yourselves”: Building up to Student Facilitated Conversations

In this highly interactive session, the presenters will talk about 3 essential skills English learners need in order to join a conversation and keep it going. They will demonstrate how to introduce conversation skills to get students talking in small groups online and/or in person. This session will address most English Language Acquisition contexts, including classes at the beginning level as well as multi-level groups. No matter whom you teach, you will gain many practical strategies for teaching conversation skills. Come ready to participate with your colleagues!
