Print literacy is often presumed at nearly every level of education; moreover, most adult ESOL practitioners are not equipped with the training or foundational theory to work with preliterate students effectively. Join us as we raise awareness regarding the needs of this population of English learners. Our guest presenter, Marina Bydalek with Seattle University, has designed this webinar as a primer designed to provide practitioners with the foundational knowledge needed to teach adults who have had limited prior opportunities for schooling.
