What: You will receive comprehensive, hands-on professional development training on Google's Applied Digital Skills curriculum. Google's Applied Digital Skills is a free, online hands-on and video-based curriculum that you can use in the classroom with your students to teach them the basic digital skills needed for today's evolving job market. Where: Chicago Citywide Literacy Coalition, 641 W. Lake Street, Chicago 3rd floor, Room on Mango Street. When: Two 2-hour sessions: Session 1 - Friday, June 28, 2019 1:00pm-3:00pm and Session 2 - Friday, July 26, 2019 1:00pm-3:00pm. What participants need to bring: DLAB's Google Applied Digital Skills Sessions are interactive and hands-on, so we recommend you bring a laptop, tablet, or Chromebook to access the curriculum. Please, also bring headphones to listen to curriculum videos. To maximize involvement and outcomes please have a Google account. Please RSVP.
