Hello Integrating Technology colleagues,
Last year Comcast introduced "Lift Zones," free Internet access in "safe spaces" in communities where children and adults may not have Internet access at home https://corporate.comcast.com/press/releases/comcast-announces-1000--liftzones-in-community-centers-in-us-cities. This is "an effort to bridge the digital divide as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to put low-income students at risk." https://www.insideindianabusiness.com/story/43337974/comcast-announces-first-wificonnected-lift-zones. In Indiana at least, these are supposed to be available to adult learners as well as children.
Does your community have a "Lift Zone"? Can adult learners use it? Do they use it? If so, what has been their experience with it?
